Anyone else purchased stuff from Bargainbay Deals and not recieved their Items?

My wife wanted something and they were the cheapest and included free delivery so bought it - delivery promised with in 12 working days via post (12 days would have been 04 July) - so far no delivery slip. So figure Post office f-up or idiot in complex threw my mail away (has happened) figure i can contact these guys to ask for tracking number,
So I try emailing them [email protected]- no response.
-use the contact form on their site get an auto response from [email protected] - nothing after that.
-Phone number - 014 5922847. - just rings and goes to voicemail
-Sent PM on their FB page - No reponse
-their my live chat app on the website doesn't have an agent present but tried anyway-no response

Tried each of these a few times - nothing
Post office won't help without tracking number tried asking them to let me check their delivery book they said no :( there is another lady that works at the post office that lets me check but haven't seen her in a while the other ones refuse.

Apparently They had a cell number but thats been taken off the site and none of the web Archive servers have a copy of the page from before that

-they use pay fast as their payment operator so I emailed them, maybe they can get a hold of them
Luckily a small amount <R100 so can let it go to school fess or just get bank or pay fast to reverse charge since nothing was delivered.
But would prefer the Item would make the SO happy and a happy wife makes a happy life :D

Dont expect much posting here but maybe negative press might shake em up or you fellow forumites might have an idea i haven't tried.

Bought some items from them as well, received some of it, but a very large order is still pending.
They don't answer that phone, they only reply to selective emails, like asking a question about a product, but they flat out ignore emails asking about where your order is.

They have a facebook page awell, but if you post there, it gets deleted, and you are blocked from posting on the site again.
I am doing forward with criminal proceedings against this scam company.
Yesterday they sent out this email:

• Response Time: We will ensure that all emails will be answered within 12 hours during Monday - Friday.
• Business Hours: Business hours will remain the same. Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
• Order Tracking: Tracking numbers will be emailed to each customer once the orders have been dispatched. No tracking numbers will be posted on the deal confirmation.
• Dispaching of Orders: All orders will be dispatched within the time frame as set on the deal fine print.
• Merchants: Each Merchant will supply BargainBay Deals with stock before a deal is listed. All stock will be checked before dispatching to our clients.
• New Deals: We will continue listing new deals on a daily basis. Each deal will only run for a period of 14 days.
• Deliveries: As from the 01 August 2014 all deals listed will include free door - door courier delivery.

After ignoring all mails, they sent out that.
Seems that they want to lure more people in, before calling it a day.

Quite a few people on other forums have also had similar cases with orders not arriving

I hope you get your money back.
 
Still no reply , and i am blocked from posting on Facebook -which i noticed happens to quite a few people.
I even went so far as to report them the the NCC, they investigating need to wait 10 or so working days for them.
Pay fast is investigating as well.
Sigh i'm going to a lot of trouble to get 90 Bucks back none the less its my 90 Bucks

Hellopeter them.
If they delete unfavourable comments from their FB and block users from posting, then at least Hellopeter allows for some stickiness of your complaint.
 
Just be aware that these guys will have multiple companies, so they will just continue with a different company through payfast.

Did your parents receive anything as yet?
I finally got an email from Bargain Bay with a SAPO tracking number, but SAPO Site is constantly under maintenance, so hard to confirm if real or not.
So emailed SAPO.
