Any suggestions for a fitness tracker for a 12yo? Ideally it should have heart rate, pedometer, calories, stress and sleep monitoring. IP68 so she can swim with it too. Budget, R500 would be lovely.

Second hand is certainly an option.

What is this guy like?

If you can stretch the budget to R799 you can get the Mi Band 7 which is much newer and should be more capable.

I have one and am very happy with it. Battery lasts about a week and tracking seems reasonably accurate. It will be anle to do everything you want.

I haven't used it while swimming but it's rated for 5ATM so should be good. Not sure how well it tracks swimming as exercise, but it's one of the exercise options.

I am not sure about putting that kind of pressure on a child to measure these activities, etc. ?
