Xbox 360 and the samsung 23.3 inch hd screen. Sorted, and they can even play any sports game together, which they cant on a pc.

You do realize that long term that way costs way way more than a gaming pc?

I dont agree. I bought my xbox abt 2years ago and it runs far cry2 better than my rig. My rig is not old, and propably worth 5times the xbox. Name me one rig that came out 2years ago that would run far cry2? A console can last up to 5years with up to date graphics. A rig cant.

1stly, the xbox is a console, you have to deal with those annoying analog sticks and what not, as apposed to keyboard and mouse (for racing game controller>Kb+M, for most other games Controller<Kb+M)

As with the games, you paying about R500 a game on an Xbox, and R200-R300 for a pc game, that means if you buy 10 games in a year, there's a difference of R2000 between pc and console, and that difference is only for a year, if you take the 5 years you expect the xbox to live for, then that's a R10 000 difference, which is a nice fat pc .

but anyways, I do think that maybe a console is better for your kids as they can't watch porn on it or download malicious software, which will require someone to come in and fix it .
