For starters, I would perhaps try to find another shop to buy from :)

For the R6k, i'm sure you can get something much much much better than the links you posted.

If you travel to Dbn, give PC Zone in Musgrave Centre a visit or Mitabyte in Intersite Avenue a visit. Dunno about after-sales so much but if the supplier carries the warranty, you should be fine. Some laptops have a 2 year warranty whilst many others are for a year only. Be sure to consider this when buying, as fate would have it, my screen gave a problem just after a year, lucky warranty was 2 years.

Hope this helps!

Lenovo B560 i3 370M for R4299 pay for the warranty upgrade for R399 (personal recommendation) and buy a nice laptop bag +-R300 sorted.

http://www.zones.co.za/

You can either go to them or they can ship to you for R50 / R75.

Here's a cheaper i5 model of it: http://www.kalahari.com/electronics/Lenovo-B560G-i5-540M-Notebook/78315/44860793.aspx

Will have a 1 year warranty, you need a laptop bag, one like this would be perfect: http://www.kalahari.com/electronics/Targus-TBC002EU-Value-case-for-15-4-Notebook/4585/34370096.aspx

here's a more expensive one: http://www.kalahari.com/electronics/Targus-CN01-Notepac-for-15-4-Notebook/4585/34370086.aspx
