Basic Setup Required

Hello,

I need a basic setup where I will need a solar panel and also a battery, but will never pull 220V - only be using the 12V from the battery.

I'll basically need it for a few LED lights and thinking of connecting the gate motor to this setup also.

What would be needed for a setup like this?

I assume I would need the following:
- Solar Panel
- Charge Controller
- Battery

Is that all that is needed? Obviously I won't need a very big capacity battery / panel combination?

Yup, that's all that's needed.

With 12v you just need to be extra careful as the risk of fire is real. Try to limit the length of the cables (obviously depending on the number of amps).
