Good morning to all. I used to have a file for backing up to my ext HDD. This but it got wiped in a malfunction and the person who wrote it is no longer around. Anybody out there willing to help?
Thanks in advance.

You basically just need to copy the outlook.pst and archive.pst files to the external HD.
First you need to locate these files (look in Outlook settings)
put these command in a text file and save with .bat extension: (ex. Outlook_Backup.bat)
copy /Y [path here]\outlook.pst [HDD path here]
copy /Y [path here]\archive.pst [HDD path here

That's how I did it sometime back

Would've thought, that by now Outlook would have this functionality built in. Anyways, the copy thingy always worked for me, especially when I changed computers. Just import and off you go.

Nope, its a NK2 file, not to sure about outlook 2010 though, but also pretty sure its a folder on its own.

+1 There could also be a Personal Address Book (.pab) & ShowOffline Address Books (.oab) in some instances.
