Bath vs Shower?

When they make a 6 foot bath then I'll try it again.

Generally I think a shower is a morning ritual and a bath for when it's dark.
 
Shower = Faster aswell

Just wait for the water to get warm jump in... Bath you have to wait, etc.

Ofcourse i dont do either... I use a steam iron to burn the dirt from my flesh like real men should...

Cleaning the rings of dirt left in the bath after a long soak is to much PT and as I have no built in Kreepy Crawly to clean the bath, I stay out of it.:)

Did you read the rest of my link? The very next sentence would have confirmed what you just said but that would also say that it is an anomaly and not the rule.

Yes, yes...I know that bacteria in urine shortly after voiding is an anomaly. And your link explains that in detail too.

I was explaining that the "salpeter saturated"-ness of a solution that you talked about does not have anything to do with the build-up/lack of bacteria on a shower floor. To demonstrate this, I used the bladder infection as an *example*. And all of this was in response to:

I was not commenting on the link, its contents or your claim that urine is sterile after voiding...hence I did not quote those, but only the section on which I was commenting.

Bathing in winter, one stays warmer for longer, shower in summer, oh boy I am going to miss that now moved into a place that only has a bath, oh well cold baths for summer I should think.
 
The house I grew up in only had a bath, so for my first 20 odd years I bathed everyday, now that I live in a house with a bath and a shower I tend to shower most of the time, but everyonce in a while, say after a hectic gym session or a heavy night out, I like to 'wallow' in the tub.

Theres nothing fscking gay about men bathing, Men have been doing it for years, even back to Roman times and before then. Now if a man lights candles and plays soft quiet music and takes a dip by himself thats another story.
 
IMO bathing is actually more effective than showering as all the dirt is getting soaked and removed. Having the excess soap washed off the skin with fresh water when you get out of the bath leaves your skin perfectly clean.

I really think it does make sense. I also prefer having a bath before having sex than showering. I just feel cleaner.

Still, in summer I prefer showering, in winter a nice hot bath.
 
Shower twice a day, every day. Its better from a water usage point to urinate in the shower than to flush it down the toilet....

Exactly! Baths are only good for playing with the children’s toys (mine are too old now) or twiddling your toes in and indulging in some heavy thinking while you watch them. If you actually want to get clean, you need to shower.

depends on how dirty you get in the first place. I guess it also all depends on what kind of job you do, how much someone sweats and so on.

Shower twice a day, every day. Its better from a water usage point to urinate in the shower than to flush it down the toilet....

Yug man, this is disgusting. We have a toilet to urinate and a shower to shower. Next time you take a dump into the trash bag so you don't have to flush? :rolleyes:

Each flush uses 12 litres of water. Pissing in the shower will save around 4000 litres per person, per year.

Urine is 95% water, the average human makes around 1.5l per day, or around one cup per pee. An average shower uses 75-100 litres of water. If you piss directly into your drain, at the beginning of a shower, with the water flowing, then your one cup of urine (95% water), is being diluted with around 100 litres of water by the time it leaves your shower. I would be surprised if you could find a trace of urine after that....

Of course crapping into a bag will not help at all, since the organic matter would then end up on a landfill. It is therefore better to flush this away and process it for recycling.

This does still not justify pissing in the shower. You can save the environment in much better ways than pissing in showers. It also doesn't matter if urine is 95% water, it is still urine and we are still talking about PISSING IN THE SHOWER. :erm:

I am convinced even cavemen didn't piss where they washed - if they washed.

Do you also tinkle in showers when you stay over at hotels or are you just doing this in your personal, private shower that no one else has to use?
