Battery Drainage

I've experienced battery drainage for 3 years now when I use Telkom's network (no roaming). Anyone experiencing the same thing? The H+ signal strength is 70%, so the signal is decent I believe.

Is it a dual sim?

1 year old Redmi Note 2. GPS off. Background tasks restricted. The issue is Telkom. Maybe the device works much harder to maintain a decent signal because according to the map I'm on the edge of the coverage? Maybe it the ****tty mediatek chip not playing nice with Telkom? I don't know.

On Vodacom I get 40%-50% H+ signal but the battery drains normally.

Worse on iPhone. Cellc drain my S8 insanely fast but Vodacom, MTN and Telkom seems fine

On a Xiaomi device, if you go to Security>Battery>Battery Use and see what components are draining the battery (Hardware and Software)

Everything seems fine. Same issue with my sister's Samsung J5, her battery drains too fast when using Telkom.

Telkom LTE drains your battery like mad if you don't have decent coverage. My battery lasts for 2 days on 3g - switch to LTE and it may get 8 hrs or less.
