Battery Maintenance

So...

For those with lead-acids that require maintenance... When last, and how often did/do you perform maintenance on your batteries?

Depending on the amount of discharges (which is quite high given our load shedding), water top ups may be required as often as every two weeks... Equalisation charges every 30 odd days...

I just added close to 1.5l to my 8 x trojans (and no, not tap water)

So what's the state of YOUR batteries? hehe

I've also noticed their water levels drop quite a bit, but it got a lot better when I bought an rather expensive CTEK charger.
