Does standard edition get access to the new maps after the two weeks exclusivity?

It's been said the DLC will go for around R200 each, with them planning 4 in total. So for me it makes sense to rather buy premium now and enjoy it while it's fresh.

Otherwise if money is tight, you can probably wait for CDKey specials.

The new Frontline mode is epic and extremely fast paced with 16 players on each side going against one another.

It can however get extremely frustrating with some matches lasting almost 90 minutes. It's times like these that you look at your team of 16 and realise that 8 of them are sniping, which is kinda pointless since Frontline is very much a push and stand on the flag game mode.

I find myself only able to play maybe 3 or 4 of these after which I'm drained mentally.

ping was a lot better last night, managed to have some fun :D

I imagine you still don't know what the initial problem was?

I haven't experienced much lag ever since the SA servers launched, only for the first two days maybe.

Plus it doesn't look like we'll be getting any more instances of Conquest or anything else for that matter. The two running are almost always full during peak times, with only one of the Premium Conquest ones being almost full during peak.

Should be interesting to see how this changes once the DLC goes live for everyone 28 March.

Hi MyGamers.

I purchased BF1 about a week ago and I've been loving it so far.
The campaign was short but really special and the game looks beautiful.
Played a few hours of multiplayer which is great fun.

Got an issue though:
Every time I enter an operations game, it's always empty. Tried reading up about changing your server region for that game mode but it doesn't seem like its possible. And because the game mode doesn't show up in the server browser I don't know how to get into a game that actually has people playing in it. I've seen a few threads online with a lot of people complaining about it internationally. Any help would be appreciated as I really want to try operations out.

Also, are there SA BF1 discord servers/groups? Might be nice to join in with the community.

Thanks.

Sadly I haven't figured this one out either, which is why I generally stick to Conquest or the new Frontline mode.

Would be nice to know though, hopefully someone else might have an answer.

The decision not to have a server browser is up there with the head scratching decisions that DICE have made.

I actually just joined a group on PS4 where we're going to start coordinating times for local Operations games. Had one last night, much fun.

Ah, so it seems like there's not even a workaround for now. From what I understand people have definitely complained to DICE about it, so hopefully they fix it.

Nice. I'm on PC so won't be able to join you guys.
Hopefully we can get some operations going for SA PC players.

There might be something like that already going, not sure where PC gamers get together online in SA.

It’s never been a more exciting time to be playing Battlefield™ 1. We’re thrilled with your overwhelmingly positive feedback on Battlefield 1 They Shall Not Pass. A lot of hard work has gone into it, so we’re glad that you love it just as much as we do. And we’re just getting started!

Here’s a quick look at the road ahead.

Monthly Battlefield 1 Updates

We’re devoted to bringing you the best gaming experience in Battlefield 1. In the past, we did this in the form of seasonal patches. Considering all we have in store for Battlefield 1, we’ve decided to move to monthly updates. With this new tempo, we’re going to bring you more of what you want, faster than ever.

Turning your feedback into battle-tested improvements that everyone will love is important to us. We’ll utilize the Community Test Environment to iterate on your ideas and find the best ways to make our favorite game even better.

Introducing Platoons

Speaking of updates, the Spring Update is coming soon. It’ll bring one of the most highly anticipated features: Platoons. Finally, you’ll be able to organize and join forces with your friends, execute swift victories, and achieve goals as one unit. Stay tuned for more info on Platoons and the Spring Update release.

In-Game Improvements and Tweaks to Operations

Planning for our next releases, we’ve heard you loud and clear. We still have some work to do to make the game as frictionless as possible. We’re dedicating the May Update to revisions that will improve your quality of life in Battlefield 1.

This includes streamlining the flow into matches (especially Operations) and improving many gameplay grievances that will hopefully make the action feel more balanced and fair. The development team is also working on a feature update to the Battlefield 1 Rent-a-Server Program which we hope to release soon.

The New Battlefield 1 Expansions*

We can’t talk about the “road ahead” without mentioning the upcoming expansions. Each one is packed with new maps, weapons, vehicles, and game modes. We have so much more to share about the Great War!

Battlefield 1 In The Name Of The Tsar will bring you to the Eastern Front, where you will fight alongside the Russian army and witness the brutality of combat and the bitter cold of the Russian winters, as seen in the concept exploration images in this post. Prepare yourself for all new tactics employed by the Russian army. Though the frost is cold, the steel is colder.

Anyone find any games after the update? Can't find squat at the moment. Even overseas.

I know on console someone said they can't find international servers

Managed to come right, for some reason all my filters had been changed and I had to some fiddling but I can now find the servers. Hopefully both SA conquest servers are now ranked.
