Battlefield 2: Special Forces

I dunno if it's just me, but after installing SF, the game interface is unbelievably freaking slow. Takes forever for a reaction when you click a button.
Also account login is very slow. This happens in SF and normal BF2.

Gameplay appears to be fine.

I'm reinstalling the whole thing to see if it makes a difference.

EDIT: Reinstalling from scratch solved the issue.

Planned to get SF yesterday, but got stuck in traffic on the way home. Will probably have it on the weekend!!!
 
want me to call BT and ask them to keep 2 copies Fivel?
 
So I got 3 unlocks last night... I selected what weapons I want - but the frikkin' things are not available to me when I played tonight - yet I got killed with other people's unlocks. Grr!

XEye had the same problem.

Went into BFHQ, and it doesn't show the unlocks. Logout, login, BFHQ shows the unlocks, but they're still not available to me in game.

sure you dont need a 10% deposit with prime @ 10.5% to get them? :p

maybe the servers are too overloaded to update your BFHQ profile...
 
I officially hate flash bang nads.....can't believe that they should be so effective in the day time in open air!!!! Grrrr...got nailed a few times last night with them.
 
i got flash banged while flying the attack chopper, so i attemted to hover it, ended up road killing the enemy and the proceeding on!
 
I have it !!! Finally, those Dumba$$es at take 2 got it.

How do you get flash banged in a chopper !!?

Now I have to wait the whole weekend till I get back from Durban :(
 
o so thats where those bloody things come from, how come they work on normal BF2
 
Yeah, most of the upgrades carried across.

Does your BFHQ profile carry over from BF2 or do you start fresh in Special forces?
 
arghhh, installed the dman thing, now i cannot connect to the account server!!!!!
its just sits there!!!
 
It's not SF - it's a general problem. Took me about 15 minutes to connect last night.
And then there was the fun with no unlocks... weird thing tho - I got gold on one round last night - yet it reflected on my stats. Go figure.
 
See - it woz doobiwan - he felt so guilty about the incident that he went to the beach for like 30 minutes.
Man - what a way to torture yourself. I almost feel sorry for him.
/me votes that we buy doobiwan some self - tan to prevent future "FLASH-BANG-THANK YOU MAM" episodes.
 
I am actually enjoying SF, its faster combat than BF2 and the added extras are kewl, I do how ever get irritated when I play almost all maps as rebel, and so only have plain mix of weapons ... The new offerings are so much more effective ...
