I played medic for the first time last night, the squad leader asked me to.
It was my first round ever as a medic. and i got 100hours under my belt (im usually anti-tank)...
I got 60 points... not bad... was fun. but i prefer blowing things up...

Me as well [medic for first time] - we were in same squad - but I sucked really bad at it - I died like 13 times in quick succession. Gave that up as a bad idea, but even so, got quite good points pretty quickly.

Spoze it's a speciality thing, a medic should do nothing but throw medipacks, revive and occasionally a grenade or two.

Zoidberg, squad leader asked me to, I really enjoyed it... but im not quitting my day job yet...
it's REALLY easy to get scores with medic.. luckily im not a stat's player

Erm, thanks. It's not that hard, really.

It is unlike another guy that always insists on being commander. I think his name is something like waywarden.

I played yesterday afternoon -- he was commander on some of the maps. In Dalian Oilfields particularly I had to keep warning him that he was about to get killed. Saved him from being knifed a couple of times. What a wally.

Medic is quite fun, but it's only really useful on the urban maps. The medic unlock gun is pretty cool. It's got a brilliant zoom, so you can snipe with it, and it's fairly accurate.

I've still got to climb back to Lance Corporal so I can unlock a weapon again. Restarting sucks.

The best is shock paddling an enemy. I got 2 last night with the paddles. Good fun!

I haven't tried that one yet.

I usually get killed as soon as I whip out the paddles.

it's quite easy, just wait to see a guy prone next to another guy, fire a rocket immedietly, it should hit by the time they both get up

I so hate being on the receiving end of this...sometimes I wish medics would just leave me alone

True rsachoc... 95% of the time im very grateful for medics. But there are times when they revive you infront of a tank turret

I actually had DOOM3, Half-LIfe2 & GTR FIA delivered to my doorstep on the morning of release. Had it before anybody could even get to the stores.

Whatever, I got them (Doom3 & Half-Life2) at BT's store on the day when they were realeased.

I got Half-Life 2 the day it was released. (Ordered online) I was however only able to play it the next day, due to Stream.

Yeah, those T-shirts were a bit low budget. Did you also get the collectors edition of HL2?

I cant wait for that game.. I played the demo.. 6 times
