Try adjusting the transmit sensitivity... that should help.

At the moment I've got a nasty cough, so it would be vewwy vewwy unwise for me to remove the 'push to talk' functionality. :) I'm quite sure my squad members would not appreciate all my hacking and coughing all the time, heh. :D

Lately I've been playing commander quite a bit. It rocks when there are squads who actually play well with the commander. I don't think I'm too horrible at it, so I get annoyed when there's someone who is commander and is flouncing about trying to be a hero instead of leading the battle.

A commander's job (as I see it), is to stay as far from battle as possible, assist the squads by sending up UAVs into areas that need it, drop supplies where necesssary, and artillery the hell out of the enemy.

So far I've been commander for almost 5.5 hours, I've earned myself 910 commander points, and earned 4x gold, 3x silver & 2x bronze medals, and various ribbons purely from commanding.

I honestly don't know if that's good or not compared to others, but I'm quite proud of it, so if you're ever on a map where I'm commanding, do yourself a favour and join a squad, or create a new one. Lone wolves suck (from a commander's perspective, that is).
 
u cant be both though

yea commander is fun easy way to get medals hehe i just did it for my ribbons

but its gets kinda boring
 
I played Commander almost all of my time last night. Had some good rounds some bad, but got My badge and Staff Officer ribbon at least :) I'd really like to know how they work out the points though, I had 44 kills and only ended with a score of 51? (Didn't win)

I also tried out te GZ servers last night, quite nice to have a smaller game for a change, lots of vendetta's . . .
 
I get nervous when I see the commander flying around in a jet. I don't think issuing commands, dropping supply crates and calling in artillery is easy when flying a jet... :confused:
 
you must be verrrrry good to do that! or a very bad commander
 
. . grr up at 01h00 on a Sunday night and it's not even for BF2!! It's ridiculous that we have to work to making a living I tell you . . . . :P
 
Man, that's enough to cause a suicide bombing of Teklom's offices!
Not playing BF2 "just sommer" is one thing, but not playing because you _can't_ is something to cry over. :p
 
anybody unlocked the assualt weapon?
whats it like? i played assualt last night and totally dominated the map, outscoring the jets and heli's and armour!

i've got my sniper and spec ops unlocked , wondering what to do next!
