... flying with a mouse is too much like hard work and the reaction time to far to slow.

You need to adjust the pitch / yaw settings on the bottom left of the key config screen. Set it to at least 8.

I have mine set to 8 for pitch (for/back-ward) and 10 for yaw (side to side).
Mouse sensitivity is set to 8 as well - haven't really noticed much difference above that though.

i stay away from flying... i rather drive or be a copilot... or just use the plane as a means of transport on a map... if they just had TIE fighters in BF2.. :D

I like setting myself little goals - like badges or ribbons, I'm keen to get basic ordenance...

Apparently doing the kamikaze jeep thing with C4 on the bonnet is a good way to get this badge. I have yet to try it though. It also has the nice side effect of really pissing off the people you do it to :D

i've been a attack chopper whore lately!

its relaxing to fly that thing around, i do a pretty good job, always end up having some dude as my gunner going "lets do it again" cause i always give them the most optimal shots and they 99% of the time end up getting a gold badge cause of my flying!

Heh heh, noted! My favourite mini-game. Definitely need to find some "asault" targets for that one ;)

On the back flag of OCS, I watched two dune buggies going around in circles for ages until the front one finally hit a tree or something. From the ensuing explosion the guy chasing was obviously doing a kamikaze, but it was the funniest thing to watch :)

ROFL.

Btw, with the kamikaze thing, the idea is to hop out at a safe distance BEFORE collision! :D

Lost your VOIP? Think you're gonna die? Strap C4 to yourself and do it in style. Spread yourself around hehehe.

I'm happy with Web Africa at the moment, but most of my activity (2-3Gb / month) is local BF2, I average less than a Gb international traffic a month. Some of the IS Guys (I think SAOL) are going to be offering 2-3Gb international + 30Gb local or <R200 a month post Nov 1, which suites me quite nicely.

I'm not ready to jump ship just yet, but just interested to know what gaming performance would be like.
