Having loads of fun playing with all you myadslers....we defended like demons last night...playing bf2 as part of a squad is the only way to play IMHO! The fact that you all don't take it all too seriously adds to the enjoyment.

99% of time I don't punish for TK. They should put the number of PTKs you've done on your stats. But some guys are life-long citizens of noobtopia. eg those who would literally kill for a Jet. Big NONONO. "Leet" guys that get agro when a newbie guns for them irritate me. Even had a guy join my squad once to blast a teamie for some mistake he'd made. Tut tut. The best gaming happens when the chaps in your squad are light-hearted and having a ball. It's contagious :D

Heh heh, my single valorous feat last night was getting the kill on MadMax. Big team effort that one, and only after he killed me half a dozen times :)

Note to self - shoot the supply crate first . . . .

I once c4'd my whole squad trying to defend the flag i had just taken!
They did admit it was a pretty good setup and would have been highly effective against the enemy!

I got TK'd once when our heli got shot down (one of those strange ones) and the pilot gets attibuted with the TK...I then *hangs head in shame* hit the wrong button and punished him....I am yet to live that one down :(

Heh heh.

So does that count as kills towards an Ordinance badge? ;)

I can't tell you how many times I've TK a friendly because there's an unseen enemy standing behind them and I just see the red tag!

LOL. I got kicked for tking on the Daquing map. The tags on my teamies changed colour in the game. I now pay a lot more attention to uniforms if they can be seen. Tho 1.3 fixed that fault guys are often too close too see tag so his camo good for ID.

The issues I have with uniforms, and I'd like to know if anyone can confirm this, but if you switch kits with a guy you just killed, I think your character takes on the enemy uniform.

Recruiting

If any of you guys are not already a member of a clan, and feel like joining one for sh1ts and giggles, you're more than welcome to join my clan, War Geeks.

We're purely informal at this point - especially being only 2 members right now - so you don't need to expect things like clan practise and what not (yet - this may become a possibility if we get enough members, and have enough interest).

PM me, or email me from my profile page if you're interested.

With the way us MyADSLers have been playing together lately, we could kick some serious @ss ;)

Yea i felt bad last night about a TK punishment i gave some guy that blasted me as i came around the corner
while laying on the floor i punished him and he then came over and proceeded to jump start me SOZ whoever you are.
I usually dont punish for a TK but last night after being killed 10 times in like 2 minutes and then surviving for 5 minutes only to get killed by an allied player pissed me off.

BTW is there anyway to connect direct to the SGS servers without going through the main BF2 server in the US...pain in the ass when international ADSL is down and you cannot even connect to local servers.

In the server name space type:
-= SGS BF2
The SGS servers should appear. Add them to your favourites.
Once you've done this click on favourites as soon as you get into the multiplayer screen. The SGS servers will be displayed for perusal at your leisure. Do not be alarmed by the gaudy green text colour, this is normal. Rather, EA thinks it is.
