yes, see a lot of posts by nrg on the bf forums on saix. u good as well

doob, we have a 192 line at the moment but we are upgrading to 384. ive seen our line hover at about 40kB/s when downloading stuff (mostly development junk), but i fear it might still not be enough. we tried playing 2 guys on the same line (192) and it mostly lags the crap out of me, while the other guy plays fine. hopefully this will be sorted out soon.

Its tough juggling the gf and games. on the one side of the scale you have nookie, on the other side there is bf. hmmm, life is hard.

i would love to play BF alongside RPM. or kill him as my enemy, whatever...

who else should i be looking out for on the servers?

384 is more than enough for 2 pc's on a network...
The prices of line rental is dropping, so i might upgrade to 512... Net limiter is awesome for limiting bandwidth usage on one machine so that the other can play all the time...
I actually dont mind putting the game off for gf time, since i get to play alot in the week when she's not over...

But I haven't played for weeks now. I have to piggy back off of my freinds 512Kb line and I haven't had the time to go and play.

BTW, we can get 4 guys on a 512Kb line without any problems. :cool:

I'm ho||ow-ZA. You cant miss me : look for the plane flying into the mountain, look wherever the artillery strike is, look for the attack chopper spinning out of control or sometimes I'll get run over by a APC while trying to C4 his ass.

BF2 is trouble, I'm starting to hate everything that comes between me and my BF2 time. Like in LOTR where Frodo wont give Bilbo the ring in Rivendell and for a split seconds he becomes this vicious demon thing. :D

k, so i am looking for BFC|Scart, nrg_wp, killa (hehehe), rsd, and i think thats all i have for now.

watch out for EyeSuc and Int13 joining your squads. I LOVE killing tanks and Int13 is still finding his feet.

lol...desperate housewifes doesnt cut it anymore for her.
I cant wait for the clan matches to begin. It will get worse with matches usually on the weekends.

i was in your squad at Kubra Dam on Saturday, you were the squad leader and honestly didnt do too bad... i was the deputy squad leader... chatting with the mike... ruslan74... remember me? :D
 
YEAH!!! that was an awesome round!!! Damn, i had fun on that one. It sure makes a difference when the people chat with each other. Geez, i'm sure gonna try and team up with you in the future again.

If memory serves me right you scored very high, if not the highest, for that round on our team. Anyway, it was an honour serving with you, sir.

Was i really squad leader? If so, i didnt intend for that to happen. I havent even clocked 10 hours playing time yet!!!
 
yep, a mike is vital for comms... would gladly have you in the squad anytime! :)

and yes, you were squad leader... you and some other guy just couldnt resign and kept swapping... hehehe... it was a fun round... remember the chopper we brought down with the tank? :D
 
hell yeah, i remember that one. friggin flying fiends! always satisfying taking down someone more powerful than you (e.g. choppers, tanks, APC's). guess thats why i like Anti Tank kit so much.

we need more MyADSL people to squad up with!
 
i know a few from here... but most have unusual times as i can only join for a long time over weekends... tomorrow i will be on for sure after 19:30... why dont you join Xfire and add me to your friends list, this way you and i know when we are online...
