I think it's more a case of withdrawal! That's okay, Wife 1.0 and Toddler 1.0 are goign to visit Grandparents 2.0 in Durbs for a week shortly. Funnily enought the same day I should be getting my copy of Special forces . . .

So big catch up on the way!
 
Does anyone know how the expansion pack will work on the current servers or will there be specific servers for the expansion pack?
 
But by the release notes the weapon upgrades are in patch 1.12 for vanilla BF as well as "level 2" upgrades. If the $#%#ing patch would finish installing I can have a look.
 
just looking at the update --- G*SUS 280MB - they may as well be using the steam engine.....

EDIT :: is there a local ftp download mirror somewhere?
