Battlefield 2

Heh, no, just mine. :)
The wife's has my old 6800.
The kids have an old fx5600.

My server is a linux server which I use for various things - just for stuffing around mainly.

I'm an IT geek - isn't it obvious? :D
 
Well, I got my promo recently.... now i am officially a semi n00b-t00ber.

Last night was a cool session, I see that my average scores are slowly beginning to increase, but I think I made a mistake taking the G36c (is it?) as the weapon of choice.

I prefer the laser sights on the other rifle, goodness knows i need all the help i can get.
 
Heh heh, the G36c is pretty cool. It's accurate as all hell, you can snipe quite effectively with it. Best upgrade is still the dao12 for AT I reckon. The G3 is also pretty good, but only 20 rounds takes more skill than the shotgun.
 
if you use the g36c, use it for medium to longer range in single fire mode, this is how i take about actual snipers!

close combat use short bursts!!

its a good gun!

Yeah, i got caught a couple of times last night with little or no ammo in the middle of a gunfight......

Makes you want to stand still and say "Go on, Do it, Shoot me dammit!"

I was thinking that I should have taken the assault or anti-tank unlock rather.

Also, my choice of spawning points leaves a lot to be desired....
 
/me loves that DAO12 - you stand dead still and listern for it - BOOM BOOM - he he he he - there's one - run - [stand about 30 metres away] - point automatic rifle at siwwy shotgun carrier - 3 shots to the throat - dude shoots at you 4 times - nothing happens - dude dead - LOL. Shotgun shmotgun ...
 
I also glad to be collecting a few badges along the way - I think the knife badge is the one that is going to see me struggling the most.

I can see the Kills/Deaths ration looking more and more grim every day when trying to get that sucka!

Also, i seem to remember a previous post dealing with the effects of running around with your knife out .....
 
they many times mistake you for the potato peeler of the battlefield... :p
 
i just so dont care about stats anymore, i've spent an entire round hunting 1 guy just so i could knife him, i end up doing things like this alot lately
 
Yeah. That's the excuse I also use for a k/d of around 0.7 . .. .

No, wait I blame my mouse . . .

And my Graphics card . . .

And the gravitational pull of the moon . .

even though my grafx card is crap, im running on a latop so everything is a little bit down,

scooby doo, u wanna get it 2+, come play with me, learn to gun properly, i'll fly and i garuntee you for the rounds you will get 7:1 k/d ratio!

I know how to fly. When i do get a plane i can do some damage... Best i got was 60 something kills 3 deaths. I usually get a kd ratio better than 2:1. But i have so many kills/deaths that it takes a while to get to 2.0. Go have a look at my stats if u want. ScoobyDoo16 or Scooby_Doo16, can't remember, haven't played in a while. Damn holiday jobs.
 
I find my k/d ratio is a lot better in SF.
Probably because some of the better players haven't moved across yet ;)
