Battlefield 3 and iburst issues (not receiving invites)

I have trouble receiving invites for co-op and party invitations.
When sending invites my friends gets a popup saying they have been invited (expected).
But when they invite me I do not see anything.
I’m using iburst USB dongle to connect to internet and I can play the game without issues.
I think this might be to do with port forwarding in the usb dongle.
I opened all the required ports, turned off the firewall and anti-virus and no luck.
Does anyone else have the same problem? Is there a way to solve this?

Also, I'm not sure, but if you follow that link to test the websockets, my IE9 doesn't work (I use Chrome anyway). My problem, however, is with BitDefender 2012, which has a temp fix that you can apply:

There is a lot of email that does not reach me via Iburst, most notably from Microsoft and from Arcsoft Software. In fact the last bit of software I bought from Arcsoft I am unable to apply my registration code. The email also contained my new login and password. When i go to the site and request new details it sends but I do not receive the emails.

Thanks guys, but no luck i tried the websocket test (did not work) and switched to Chrome but still no luck...
