Well the PC version is almost 1/2 the price.

Rather try swap it for a COD MW3 for Xbox and buy the BF3 PC version.
If you can afford it ofc.

If not they shouldn't have a problem exchanging it for a PC version because of the price difference. But don't expect a refund of the balance.

Anyways the new ones dont work the same as the old ones. (The old RED/green or RED/blue ones)

Color blindness is, however, the most commonly used term though it is misleading if taken literally, because colorblind people CAN see colors, but cannot make out the difference between some couples of complementary colors. Color vision deficiency is not related to visual acuity at all and is most commonly due to an inherited condition. Red/Green color vision deficiency is by far the most common form, about 99%, and causes problems in distinguishing reds and greens. Wth, now when I launch BF3 from Origin, the SP starts instead of the web browser battlelog opening?
 
Make sure Origin is logged into the servers.

That happens in off line mode.
 
anyone here having a problem with Anti Alliasing deferred?
sometimes if i put mine on 2x or 4 x i get some black masking over my display, well its dark not pitch black.. sucks cos i gotta have some AA not completely off :(

waiting for the next patch cos ****s gotta get fixed here

using a GTX570, wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue, all my other games with AA on is 100%
 
Ok weird question, but is anyone sliding very slowly to the left? Tried joining a couple of servers this morning and on each one my player slowly slides to the left, whether I'm standing, crouching or prone.

Thia happened to me before on another game but it could be one of 2 things:

1. Mouse is screwed
2. Keyboard is buggy.

In my case it was the mouse, it got interference from the modem and it made the toons lean left sometimes. Got a new mouse and no problems :)
Right your cellphone and put it next to your mouse and see what happens.
 
What do you guys fly with?

I'm finding it tough to fly with mouse + keyboard and someone mentioned to me they fly with a joystick?

In BF2 and BFBC2 it was impossible to fly with a mouse. You had to use the keyboard of a joystick. In BF3 I can fly with a mouse without any problem what so ever.

Tip:

When flying with a mouse, use "A" and "D" to move from left to right as you target. Use the mouse for direction. Kinda like using "A" and "D" as fine tuning vs mouse being tuning :p

Tried 2 other fps' now, COD4 and CS 1.6, both are fine so can't be my keybaord or mouse. It's just BF3 that I'm getting this stupid problem. Was fine last night, only started up this morning :/

Reset your key to default and see what happens, on my keyboard which is a logitech, the one with the lcd but not the colour lcd there is a switch and if that goes the wrong way i had that issue in bf 2, i reloaded my entire OS, bf 2 3 times then i plugged in a different keyboard and only then did i realize the domestic must have moved it by accident or me :p. I will check it out tonight. What keyboard are you using?

Also check you don't have a joystick/gamepad plugged in. Some weird issues can happen in bf3 with them. e.g. When I first connected my joystick and went into bf3 my char spun in circles looking at the sky.
