Installing the new CellC software. I hope this allows me to set my prefered network as it keeps going to Edge when I have WCDMA and HSUPA full signal...

Let's see what happens.

Going to try and practise some more this weekend. Playing Recon at the moment. I get the whole don't camp in one spot thing, a lot of players running around with my blood on their knives and my dog tags in their pockets.

From what I read online if I have my scope out its like painting crosshairs on myself. This would have been usefull information about a million deaths ago.

Any other usefull tips?

Don't play recon.

Engineer = weapon of mass destruction.

If a sniper is shooting at you, he would have marked you as spotted. Hide for at least 20 seconds before you pop up behind your cover to move. as he will see you moving to the new spot if you move with the triangle on your head. Duck behind cover and stay there for 20 odd seconds then move. If they have a mortar in your range... FK'NG RUN :D
 
you talking bout the glint/glare Rexx?

yeah scopes tend to do that but I think it only happens when facing the sun or when light is shined on you at an angle.

people can then see you as it would look like you are holding a flashlight (not as bright as the "SUN IN A CAN" though).

when moving, criss cross with a pause now and then instead of running in straight line.

Don't stay scoped in for long periods, I like to use the sniper at medium range. Keep an eye out for other snipers glint, if you are far away then they are pretty much the only ones that can get you.
 
I recall seeing someone from RFH on this forum but can't remember who. I just wanted to ask why punkbuster is off on the 32 player conquest server?

I just played three rounds with a blatant hacker. It was actually funny how fkd up it was!. Anyways I'm not blaming the server owners, just querying why PB was off, and if it was on would it have even made a difference? I reported the player as per the necessary procedures.
 
liking some of the patch fixes on the list.

now let us see what they fix and what they break along with it :D

ask hungrybeaver as I think he is admin for the RFH servers
