Haha, I just played metro and went 59-33 :)

Actually one of the most fun BF3 rounds I've ever had. Control of the whole map was swing between the 2 sides the whole match. Loved it!

USAS, M320 and RPG/SMAW spam fest...

need resupply ribbons... go Metro 1K
need RPG/SMAW kills... go Metro 1K
need Medic points... go Metro 1K

Hell yes, on the int server it is so awesome. People actually have to go and look for kills. You can't stand in a corner and spam tubes and rpg's for kills. I see people literally standing in the same spot pumping tube after tube. I really don't get it hey. How much must that be?

Nades are bad but you cannot just chuck nades and get kills you actually need to move around and find the enemy. Even if you are defending B from C you cannot just lob them in the stairs because you won't get kills.

USAS plus medic = poonage :p. Man people moan about the USAS, i laughed today this dumb idiot was chilling at B spamming rpg's and i started getting annoyed so i kept running up the back stairs and shooting him in the same spot and he tunes usas noob :p. There is nothing more thrilling than USASing an entire crowd and sneaking through to A.

When playing that 1k 24/7 Metro server I'm slowing forcing myself to use actual guns instead of USAS/RPG/M320. I've found that if I do that my gun skills on the other maps have improved quite a bit and I also seem to die quite a bit less :)

Metro 24/7 1000 Tickets! Omg, SPAM fest!

I was playing with my clan, and we were down 420-730 tickets, we rushed through to take A, leaving only B and spawn for the enemy. Then we took B as well. We ended no1-no8 with only one player not in my clan. What an epic battle! 1 clan, 2 squads and we beat the opposing team.

I also managed 2 medals and 67 ribbons :D

I enjoy the longer map modes, as there is more of a chance to make a comeback.

I also for the first time since the game started have a completely even wheel (time spent with classes), my SPM is also above 430 (which I think is quite good for someone who isn't specialising in any particular class at the moment). I also managed a 1.8km sniper shot and levelled 10 service stars in the holidays. Still 84 to go though :/

I was playing the Metro 64 1K server too. There were 2 of them up last night, both full. It is a complete rpg/m320 spam fest though. It would be so much more interesting with those banned.

But my problem with the 64 metro (rather than the 30 player server) is that you can't really push through without squads working together. On the 30 player server, I have managed to sneak round the back and take out a bunch of guys, allowing my team to push up (assuming they're not too busy spamming to notice the absence of enemies). With 64 players, there are too many enemies to make much of a difference without good squad work. Also, the rest of the team seems content just camping and spamming on those servers. There doesn't feel to be a real drive to push forward.
 
I've been enjoying Squad DM of late. The maps are HUGE, which is good and bad, but it allows for breathers during intense rounds :) so it works.

Do all of you like these 1k ticket servers? They're busy all the time. I don't play them because the round time is too long for me and I lose interest in most games after a few 100 tickets when there are still 500 tickets left. 600 tickets would be excellent imo.

Solution: Smoke grenades and people working together (shotguns).
I've been involved where a few (only 6 people) was working together, smoking up the place and then turn the game around.... but
I don't know if people are blind (read the text), too focused or too much trophy hunting because they do their own thing, even if they cannot get up to Ticket Hall.

need a squad.... not many of my mates play BF3 or any other FPS for that matter.... so any players willing to help a guy out would be appreciated...

A normal round can last for what 11 minutes? i normally can get 15-19 ribbons, a round of 1k can last 45 to an hour. So take 4 rounds of 11 minutes and you my end up with more ribbons.

Join a clan? There so many that play BF3 and most are still looking for new players

We not hectic like you must be here and do this and practise like a football star haha. We just jam together and play clannies :D.

Well its impossible to beat a side that is stacked by a clan. They will most likely be on team speak or something similar and can easily co-ordinate attacks that a random team cant. even 1 squad made up of clannies in ts is enough to turn a game around completely.
