Battlefield 3

I hit a havoc head on with the TOW and killed him with one shot. Not sure if maybe he was damaged beforehand.
 
totally destroyed chopper, or just killed guy in it?

I hit a jet standing basically next to me, in the cockpit, and guy managed to fly away.

it's like hitting a jet on it's belly right above you, with a tank, and you get a disabled but either the guy bails, or he somehow manages to still fly away.

Ya, I hear you. That is BS.

I think I killed the pilot and then the whole lot dropped out of the sky and killed the gunner on impact. Pretty sure it wasn't destroyed outright. Wasn't there mention of buffing the TOW in the next patch though?

Yep, they are buffing it I think.
 
Killadoob , wow man! U have played bf3 for 526 hours!!!! Lol that's crazy :D u going for 1000 hours?
I compared ur stats to mine ti see how im doing and I'm very far from u in every way!! Lol
Played a bit this weekend and enjoying it again :p

I must say out of the whole game snipers piss me off the most.

Snipers piss you off the most? You obviously have not had the rage that is tubers on Metro yet :D

Very good chopper pilots piss me off the most as well. Stupid mozzies
 
Sniping is fun though, if I get sniped then I generally have to spawn back as a sniper just to show them :p
I still prefer the other kits but its fun to do some combat or super long range sniping from time to time.

Agree, the closer to bed time it gets the more I spawn as sniper... And basically if I get hit by a sniper I feel like its a challenge and I make it my mission to take him out.

It is a challenge :p
Honestly there are very few things in the game that feel as good as spinning around and snapping a headie with a sniper rifle.
The only other thing that comes close for me are those rpg kills on infantry running at 100m+ where you aim pretty far in front of them and get a direct hit.
 
Do you need a credit card to buy the new expansion pack "Battlefield 3™: Close Quarters" or can you pay by EFT or by Paypal?

Very few... one of which is probably potting viper pilots... another would be 1km+ headshots...

If I remember correctly its by credit card only. However, they will probably be selling the product codes in local gaming retail stores like they did for the B2K expansion. It was also actually cheaper than buying it online.

Everyone thinks of a sniper as a person who sits on a mountain out of sight and picks off ppl 1click away. There are those who do that but my preferred sniping is up close with a suppressor. Pop out, drop the guy and pop back in. I die a lot more but the challenge is to pick someone off without being spotted. On firestorm, you'll find me amongst the silos when the enemy has C or off to the side between A and B. On caspian border I love hanging around A or E, especially E as I wait till the enemy moves on, retake E and grab a free tank in the process.

Nothing nicer than getting a headshot using a suppressed rifle and watching that bullet arc and your enemy drop.
 
I'm getting the expansion as well. I don't believe in the cod franchise after black ops. So the expansion packs seem worth it for me since there is no other realistic fps I'll buy in the near future.
 
I'm thinking bout getting it. Is it a download expansion only cause I see it being probably over 6gb:banghead:

14 seconds in and its bouncing chaos, i find i get alot more "Bluti" -( this is the blue muti/drug - Enemy killed that graces your screen triple kill, multi kill etc)
 
If your update doesn't install..(waiting for you to complete the install).
Right click BF3 in origin, click repair, its not downloading the entire game again just repairing, and then the update will download
