Battlefield 3

This game is the embodiment of fun ...... especially when you team up with buddies and are on TS. Awesome buy imo :D
 
Played last night. Had an install issue. Installed from disc, done the update of 472mb and when i wanted to play it updated the file for battlelog. It then told me my game manager needed to be updated. only way to fix it was to repair install, it then re-downloaded the whole patch, lucky my 8ta connection was downloading @ 5mb.

Loving it, great graphics. my pc is a i5-750, 4gb ddr3-1333 with a ati hd5770. ran the game in high settings. only issue i have is sometimes when i want to deploy and i click the icon, nothing happens. need to upgrade to a 6850 or 6870 and get an extra 4gb memory. struggling to get kills, will have to look at the mouse sensitivity. anyway was worth the money.
 
Game is sick, I installed it on my ssd so I get onto the map first... Which basically means I get the first jet of every round... Which I then proceed to crash into the ground... Man I suck at flying.
 
I saw this and laughed.

Just listening to this and seeing the title on the screen, you know this isn't BC or COD anymore...this is what we've been waiting for. If gaming was a religion, then Jesus is back.

Arg, loving the game, but every now and again my computer freezes so bad, I have to switch it off and on again to get it working. I upgraded from an 8900GT to a GTS 250 and I upgraded my CPU from dual 1.8 to dual 2.6 yesterday. I wonder if I should reinstall my operating system after doing those upgrades or something. These freezes are killing my pc :(
 
I have a mjaor issue with the spawn point setup.

My first TDM match, I died 8 times in a row as I click deploy.

WHY?

Because it spawns me smack bang infront of a enemy... It happened to me twice!
Easy kills... but come on... that's not right!
 
I just froze again... really frustrating because I dont get score for the round :( Trying the .38 drivers now instead of the .62 ones.
 
Lag is really really really bad on the 64 player servers. Its almost unplayable...and I so badly want to play dammit.

Yeah pretty messed up. Nothing a 5gb patch can't fix :p

Tell me about it. I'm sticking to 32 player maps for the time being.

What's funnier is... 3rd time, I figured, nah, that's wrong, I won't take the easy kill, he turned around and shot me...

After that... F*** THAT STORY!!!

No good deed goes unpunished I tell ya!
 
to the minimap guys, you know that you zoom by pressing N right?

just making sure cause I also had hard time figuring the mini out.

Is your hard drive ticking a lot also?
