That little popup thing apparently doesn't always work, and last night for me was one of those times. It seems that if you just leave the browser and wait, it should pop-up sometime and you can then click accept and view the party join list in the game manager.

However, I still see that even that does not guarantee you a spot on the same team, let alone same squad.

I did, however, manage to just click the join -> join as party last night and it then pops-up and says where the rest of your party is playing. So you can join that way as well, or just click the play button next to the peep's name to join them on the server.

Yeah, major issues.....

The one thing it also does, is when you accept a party invite, and try and join them in that game, another window pops up asking if I'd rather join THIS party, since my party is there, but its the same party I was invited to....

But anyways, its still a blast! Oh, and I've bought a R59 microphone from Matrix, so I'll see you guys on ts at about 6 :D

I got into one game with Ph8er *(sp) got in halfway into the round but my game crashed. Then I joined again and when the round changed it crashed again. So I logged off.

I think we were both trying to join each other there bud. What would be nice is to get 16/32 people to agree to a game, and then we just full up the server. Sadly I don't know how well that would pan out in real life....

Out of interest, did you see my invite? Not really sure I was doing it right :) You were already in a game, but I chanced my luck...

I did end up playing Tehran with gdiza. On opposing teams, but he had a bladdy good start!!
 
Just join individually, you can stay in the party and use voice chat like that.
To move squads look at the bottom of the screen and there is a very faint join button. That is the easiest way to squad up and still have voice chat working.

That or between Deploy and Customise there is a "Squad" tab. Allows you to leave or join what seems like a LOT of squads.
 
Yeah Im stoked for another session. Sundstromenator - we were murdering them in our tank - want to try out my thermal optics and guided shells tonight. I'm also really liking transporting guys in a chopper. Its very satisfying dropping guys on a roof and circling to provide cover. Now I just need to survive longer =/

Yeah, we did cause quite some damage in that tank. That....was....awesome. It is a lot of fun, and a LOT easier, with two people in a tank both on TS. I've only just unlocked the Coaxial HMG for tanks, which made me think that there is a lot of value in asking the 2nd person in your tank what they have unlocked, as to optimize the destructive power the tank.

As for the chopper, you are actually a very good pilot, I must say. Compared to myself, I piloted a chopper once last night. And I got it to land. And with land, I mean crash land.

It felt awesome being dropped on the roof of the furthest flag, taking it and defending. Awesome playing with Sundstromenator and Dark Cloud. Look forward to some game time tonight... :)

By the way I was going to tell you - I just bought one of those stand up mikes from incredible connection for like 65 bucks or something and its worked perfectly. Thought I was going to get a headset later on but Im actually quite happy with it

Haha, I was close :) Yip, I'm Ollpheist. Yeah, I already have decent headphones, so I've bought a cheapy stand up mike from Matrix. No idea where its gonna fit on my desk, I might have to strap it to my head with elastic bands :p

Don't joke, I did something similar once. The mic stand had some stylish holes in them at the front. So I took two paperclips through those holes, made hooks and hooked them into my shirt's pockets. So the mic stand was resting on my chest with the mic itself about 2cm from my mouth. It worked amazingly well. I sometimes still wish i had photos of these things...

Anyone tried lanning with the game yet? Ie: 3-5 guys coming to ur place and playing online whilst you're all at the 'lan'?

I managed to rank up once last night - struggling to get onto the damn servers! they all bloody full! :D

My name is Beaver and I am an addict too. A loud truck drove past the office earlier and I shouted 'TAKE OUT THE TANK' much to the alarm of my co-workers. Also, my left hand is constantly hovering over AWSD.

yeah, 3 of us played no prob on 4mb webafrica . Albeit was on sunday still with that horrendous rubber band lag, but it was cool
