Battlefield 3

Honestly, I think most people nowadays buy games for online only, so if they make a good online experience, who cares what the single player is like. I didn't even finish Black Ops single player...

I cannot recall the last time i played a single player game, not to mention the battlefield series has never been a SP player experience.

Since I sucked at helicopters in BF2 I tried some practice rounds in BF2 SP but even then the damn bots would grap the chopper before i could.

PS: I still suck at flying.

rofl bio, you know that even if they grab the chopper, you get preference right?? :D

well just came back from quite a few rounds and must say, my little i5-750 with 5850 runs it pretty nice although I think it was on medium (didn't really check but that is what I had in the BETA).

played quite a few bigger maps with lekker jets and choppers and took them out lekker or at least disabled them enough.

still think this bs where: say you try lock on to chopper/jet with AA, and the pilot doesn't flare immediately, even if you have a lock it should still hit.
especially in cases where the pilot has flared but is nowhere near the flares and your rocket neither.

though in a sense I can understand it, as that is how it works in real life, but as everything is now (in regards to the AA and flaring), the AA is only effective if bunch of guys do it together, but then you lose the AT.
and if it is a tank map, then every AT helps.

If you VPN through to Korea and try to buy the game it costs 41,500 Won which translates to R290. Anyone know if there'd be some fat bill that the bank would slap ontop of that for converting the currency?

Worf, get a program called Platinum Hide IP.

install and set country to Korea, log in to Origin and just run BF3. let it do it's thing and viola.
log out and uninstall that thing and you good to go.

there was already lvl 6 guys when I started playing, so the servers were active for quite some time.
