Did ok in the beta... Need to learn how to fly a jet though they really should put in some kind of training mode... Think I only learned to fly a chopper after the Vietnam expansion for bfbc2.

Speaking of which, I used to reign supreme in FPS but my youngest daughter's started giving me carrots in BC2 - she's wiping the floor with me and lately rubs the amount of dog tags she manages to collect under my nose.
I recently upgraded their PC's so I'll get them their copy just the same, just thought I could still source the special ed. Oh well.

Anyone know if we can preload the patch? Going to a midnight release tomorrow and the patch will take just under 2 hours to download

I only have 1GB of free data till Monday and now I need to use about 1/2 of that on a Patch. This sucks more and more. Hate the fact that I don't have the game yet

Simply put: You need an application that hides your IP and spoofs it to give the impression to the activation servers that you're from a different country (in this case, the USA or somewhere in the east, like Vietnam, Thailand etc.). Something like Platinum Hide IP works well for this. After successful activation you don't need the Hide IP app. to run anymore.
Ignore the "VPN" related posts or comments, it's basically just a fancy way to do the same thing.
It's really easy, and it's not illegal or dodgy at all.
