Just got back from Takealot.com - the lady still lacks a smile but I have my BF3 LE.
There was another guy there who ordered the normal BF3 - but multiple copies (probably for friends) and actually wanted the LE!
I felt so sorry for him.
Stuck with the standard copy!

It's sad to hear inefficiencies ruining people's Fridays. Sorry to hear all the stress involved here bud. But yeah, tell them the delivery charge is on their head. You were expecting it today..... Hopefully BT or other shops stocked up well.
Bar your cap issue, there is always Origin...

Pitbull, I don't think this is a Take2 fault, really... I think it's the way Takealot.com does things - Take2 would never have let this happen.
I'm really not keen on doing any sort of ordering AGAIN via Takealot.com because quite honestly, they are crap.
They took over Take2, and what I think they did is what new companies always do, think "their" way is better than the other way... CapeAds went through the same story.

What you talking about? Its 12:30 on release day and I got my copy. If you dont want to save the cash go buy it from Incredible for R80 more. ffs
I got the game this morning it took 2 and a half hours to install.
It was going at 1MBps, this is installing off the cd.
I couldn't do anything on my computer during this time because if I tried origin would make my pc freeze for about 10 sec, every 5 minutes.
Busy downloading the update now.
Origin has a lot of bugs they need to iron out.

My work colleague and I both order from takealot yesterday morning, I got mine this morning, he's still waiting for his, and i ordered an hour after him!

Not happy at all. Was under the impression all preorders were LE?oh yeah they do .... taken a whole dam week to preload on origin. It is flipping ridiculous how their useless downloader works, and how slow it is been. 11.6gigs or what ever it was should never have taken a week to download!

My one friend ordered from takealot, and then saw it was std, so he cancelled it - Although I think he only saw that after he had placed the order in a confirmation email or something? It is shocking how they can advertise one thing and send another

I haven't installed mine yet.. will see if I can sell it to someone at work and just get the LE off Origin, or i'll be playing the SE tonight.
