Looks like some faith might be restored.

Got a PM from TAKEALOT. No idea if it is them but I didn't send my order number till I know they are who they claim to be.

Just got a call from TAKEALOT now saying they have secured a copy for me for delivery TODAY. She doesn't know what time but it will be today for sure.

Let's keep on hoping...

Longer then that it takes to 2 - 3 hours just to install the game because of a origin glitch. Then you still need to do the patch.

I got mine about 10 this morning, and I've still got 40 minutes of updates before I can play.

Here's hoping! It wouldn't be the same this weekend, if all us "hyper's" weren't trading lead....

2-3 hours?!? off the DVD??
 
Dammit! So get home from work at 6. Install for 2 to 3 hours. Patch for 2 to 3 hours. Potentially get playing at 12. That. Is horrendous.

where you guys getting the patch from, I pre-installed mine last week and It keeps telling me my game is up to date, but I haven't installed any patch yet.
 
Ta da just popped into my local IC and bought a copy, so much easier don't have to wait for any courier now...

My install was fine, took about 30-40 min, iirc. So, you may not have to wait that long.

Getting that problem as well. Bought the disc, but Origin wants to download.

So uh... How the F@*k do I install the game from disc? Everytime I open Origin it just says "Ready to Download" I'm sorry but EA are really pissing me off with this Origin crap now. It is complete rubbish.

I've tried the fix posted in that article but still no luck.
