Lived i think you are the only one, some people don't like FPS and prefer fifa or sims dog edition. Just depends on your taste. BF 3 is by the far the best multiplayer FPS ever released

It is also EA finest multiplayer release in terms of how it works out the box.

Agreed, definitely the best FPS out now...if you can actually play it (i.e. dont get disconn, kicked, lagged, or crashed). I think so far i spent more time trying to find solutions for my problems compared to actual game time (and that excludes the Beta time!) :o

Sigh the later unlockable weapons are junk compared to the earlier ones. For example, worked pretty hard to unlock the AN-94 (assault weapon) but it's not nearly as good as the F2000 and M416 :(
 
Again it crashed on trying to connect. This after starting Origin, adding ppl, starting battlelog and importing ppl. Then trying to connect.

So herewith my reliable procedure:

1. Restart Windows
2. Right click desktop icon, select Open
3. In Battlelog, choose Multiplayer and Server Browser
4. Find server and connect (32 players or less)
5. DO NOTHING ELSE
6. Any crash then restart Windows

Just had a mid game crash but managed 15 minutes and 3,000 points. So I'm going to stick to maps I do well at until I level up some more. Operation Firestorms suits me best. I like tanks!

This is not funny anymore. It's unplayable! I'm spawning and jumping around on the map the same time. EA HAS to fix this soon, or provide refunds! This is really rediculous. The lag is a pain!

Well if you think this lag is bad, remember black ops? Now that was evil. But try to play on sgs or igame servers. They are the only servers. They are the only ones that doesn't seem to lag only 10% of the time.
 
Crashed on map change. So using my "system" I'll get 15 minutes of game play per 5 minutes restart.

Better than this weekend where it was 1:1 vs now 3:1.
 
Ok time to take a break while EA sort their **** out. Lagging on every single server (wage, sgs, mweb, igame) Spoke to one of the Igame admins and he says it is EA's fault, not theirs. Currently waiting on them to sort it out.
 
Meh, didn't enjoy tonight :( The extreme lag is starting to ruin it for me. Sometimes its so bad, that the whole action just freezes for up to 10 seconds, in which time I am usually killed. Its so random though, cause sometimes there is virtually no lag, but tonight was really bad for me...

Guess gaming on mweb 384 uncapped is not such a great idea :(
 
I have not read this thread but dont forget if you are on Mweb dont play on Telkom as they dont peer in a very good way for gaming...

actually if not mistaken, they have started to.

happened in BC2 already as guys confirmed positive pings between Mweb and Telkom based servers.

The single campaign was buggy as hell with pathetic AI and as challenging as standing with your eyes closed and holding one finger on your nose, and the multi player feels like a bunch of headless chickens running around with no purpose, though lag doesn't appear to be that bad on xbox.
Back to Black ops until MW3 comes out.

I wonder what a slightly used copy of BF3 will sell for on BOB?

Ya I must say the teamwork is close to 0 on multiplay. I have to virtually empty every last remaining round I have left in front of their faces and jump in front of them before they drop ammo :/ dumb idiots don't know I am the only one who can take on the tanks incoming but they just do their own thing and ignore.

Just now I was on a mounted machine gun on a jeep shooting the shyte out of a hillside where I saw many enemies were about to attack on spawn. But do you think the two other tanks and remainder of ppl running around would notice? NOOOO!! :mad: it took two rockets coming down before they took interest.

hehe typical gaming rant.

It'd be nice if you can somehow notify the drivers that you want a lift, like shooting them with a special bullet that makes an alarm go off in the vehicle etc. Damn, I'd make a good taxi driver, I wait until mine is full before going off.

Most games I've played the teamwork has been pretty good. Generally if you are on your own guys will stop in vehicles to pick you up etc. Had a cool game last night with a super chopper pilot, who kept asking where he should be to help, and always came where and when he was asked to.
