We assaulters assaulted and revived like champs with the others keeping mobs/vehicles at bay. Geez I had the exact OPPOSITE last night. Playing rush on that map where you spawn on the hill and run down into the first base (map name eludes me)

I swear it was me, playing assault with an F2000 and 15 snipers. All of my teamies were just sitting on the hill sniping ( and getting 1 kill every 5 minutes) and there's me running down into the base trying to plant on my own. Pissed me off so much :mad:

Atleast I got 40 kills and around 8k xp in the game alone as I was the only one planting.

Sniping in rush when you're an attacker is just retarded /facepalm.

That's how I normally play my games.... Last night showed me the light though. It's a pity that BF is treated like a normal online FPS instead of the teamgame it should be. I don't mean to generalise, but that's mostly the experience I've had so far.

Yeah, i hate it. It was the same last night, played a rush on damavand peak. Me and roomate were the only guys attempting to plant the bombs. the rest of the team sniped, flippen lame. Shout for help but no, they sit in spawn. It was flippenn funny though, i brought out my EOD bot to go arm to bomb, then hid him in the one crate. I did that 4 times before the other team realised what was going on hahaha , love that thing.
 
my gripe is not aimed at snipers in general, it is aimed at any1 on my team/squad.

if you don't want to be of help, then I will rather go and be on my own.

you join a squad for a reason, not because you want the easy points just for being in one.
help out and you may actually get even more points.

like when you are facing tanks and no1 else on your team goes AT or bothers using your own tank/s.
why I usually find myself in a tank because it just sits there.
 
Must admit, snipers tend to ruin this game a little. The one conquest game where the invaders start on the aircraft carrier, I was on the invading team. The defenders all picked sniper and sat sniping guys come across in the boats. It was so lame, nobody could even get to the shore.

Finding the same as well. It is such a pleasure when your squadmates actually work together and you move around together. Often its my squad that goes around capturing/killing things all the while my entire team is sitting in one location continuously getting killed. Yet they spawn and go back to the same spot. Rinse repeat.

Its infuriating knowing that your team can win/compete if more people just started going for other flags.

Not really, I love Assault. I played Recon trying to scout the maps to learn them. With that ended up killing a few guys, but got raped insanely bad last night :D

Cool. Sniping is not really my thing either. Anyway, we must get those Defibrillators unlocked for you ASAP then. I've played in a squad once that was actually very good in terms of teamwork. We had two support and two assaults if memory serves. That was serious wtfpwnage...

Anyway, if we have more than 4 people interested in squadding up tonight, we can also make a second squad. Take two sets of people working together in the same round on the same side - winner ribbons are worth 500xp.
 
If I get the game today I'll be on tonight for sure!
Keen to try recon/support. And no, I'm not one of those snipers that just sits back all game long. I dont mind going commando with a pistol if an objective needs doing

I've got you on my friend list also from the co-op request. I actually managed to join you for a game last night. Logged in, got shot in the face, game ended. 2sec round FTW!

Will try be more "polite" tonight, still trying to understand what I am meant to be doing in the MP thingy, think I am getting it, got a scope now so that might help with my kill ratio.

+1! Id love to actually get a bit of proper squadplay going. I come from the arma community so this whole running around by yourself thing is not my cup of tea. Add me! Taliessyn. So tonight then? Im normally an engineer or a assualt/medic

I think a lot of us are. That's why I think Pitbull's idea of squadding up is a great way for all of us to have a lot of fun. I suppose that's also why I prefer rush games, as it's a bit clearer as to what must be done. With conquest it can get seriously thick, very quick, and before you know it, you're behind enemy lines, or stranded miles from your nearest teammate.

Awesome. By the looks of it we will get two squads filled easily!
 
yes please, put me down for playing in a squad - arfness.

1 thing - how we going to co-ordinate this? Join a party in battlelog?
