I've done a bit of mortaring, and if the enemy has a mortar as well you can basically only fire one shot at a time before you have to pack up and move to a new location to fire off a new round - very tedious else you just get nailed. It's really not that overpowered, it's actually quite useless if the opposing team knows what they are doing.

Nothing wrong with mortars currently. All they need to do is if you grounded it and used it, you need to sit there till killed. People drop it, kill the other mortar and run. Some people have like an instant target. They drop it and bomb you spot on immediately after they placed it. I need to change my map view first then still move it to where I need it. Other mortars come up, you see it for a split second then your dead...

You only see the mortar on the mini map after its been fired. So nobody is plonking it down and instantly killing, it just seems that way. Everyone is scrolling that mini map looking for a target on the first shot.

One of the best feelings in BC2 was AT4ing SkyRambo, it was really worth spending an entire round trying to hit him. He would dodge just about every single rocket heading at him but when you got him it felt gooodI recall on Atacama Desert there were 5 of us trying to AT4 him at one stage and we were battling!

It's not a mission, i only got a 1.5 k/d which means i get taken very often

Does suppressor stop you being spotted? I always see flashing red dots but will a suppressor stop that?

. The SS server? Ya some epic battles we had there wow, it was so much fun, even though me and sky rambo had a bit of a hand bag session he is a good player.
You are in SS right? with sky rambo cause i played a lot against him/ss this weekend so it must be SS. Sadly it was dead sunday i was hoping for some more intense action. Best server i have played on in a long time. Yea my memory is fairly kuk the only reason sky rambo sticks out is cause we had a nice long chat haha.

You gotta be able to take getting pooned as well as pooning though dude, when you pooned me 5 or 6-0 on the second map of metro after i had given you a pooning you never saw me moan and groan about your head being made of steel and so on and i don't mind people moaning but damn it gets annoying trying to play with the chat box going nuts all game. Just play the game and enjoy it whether you get pooned or hand out a pooning
. Some epic games though and apart from the moaning which was getting very tiresome it is a server i could play every night actually. It's nice to find a server BFC can stack without having to worry about the other team being weaker.What other server do you SS okes use?

We usually just jam it out on our server dude. iGame has some issues, but DICE released a fix and it's sorted now. So we'll be on our server most of the time. IS SS Brimstone. And yeah dude, there's a lot of moaning of peeps on our server because they come play against clan members from across the board there and they get pooned.
The only time I moan is when the game is being lame. Like when someone takes a full clip to the face and doesn't die. Or someone shoots at you, you run behind a wall and you die 3 seconds later. This game still has a lot of weird lag issues that seriously pisses me off. I'm not that kak of a shot, so when someone takes a whole lotta bullets to the face, they have to die. And the spawning dude...omg...people are always spawning behind me, but it also happens a lot where people spawn right in front of me and they have no chance of fighting back. Which is really lame. Hoping they fix that in the patch that's coming this week. And let's not even get me started on that bs flashlight....!
Anyways...BFC is nice to play against, you guys have a really good line-up of players. It just gets a bit tense sometimes, but make no mistake, we do enjoy playing against you guys.

Not hax. It's how I play mortar.
Plonk it down, wait for enemy mortar to show up, Bang in the mortar round and run away.
Wait a second or two and see the blue writing pop up on screen
What I hate about the some of the games I've played on clan servers, is that if it's one clan server, you see lots of different clans stacking onto that side. So it ends up being mixed randoms vs mixed clans.
At least the game is popular enough that if the stacking is too bad, it's easy enough to find a new server. No point in moaning coz no one will actually try to balance it.
