Just [-]under[/-] over 800MB's

300 odd day one patch

482 latest patch last week. Worth ever bit in that download

Roughly 800MB, there was two, don't know whether it would still be the sum total of the two though.
So you're looking at 300MB and 487MB max.

Don't think so. I remember in bc2 there was for 5 days online. Didn't see anything in the medals section of bf3 except for class and vehicle specific time awards.

I checked.

Apparently you only get rewards for 100 hours as a US soldier and 100 hours as a RU soldier. So I guess I need another 100 hours

*I did get one serving 50 hours played as a sniper

Some people are more concerned with getting a kill than working as a team/squad to get something done.

I just do my best to be the best team player I can be, and it's starting to pay off -> ranking up some decent K/D as well as loads of points for other stuff.

if only Rambo could get points for helping his "team", then I would be a very rich boy

it's times like when, say a choke point flag is being capped and few guys spawn at the point and just simply run off, being oblivious to the capturing fact.

or when you want ammo and you have to practically do an AMMO DANCE in front of the guy and yet he still doesn't figure it out.

funny how the roles of medic and support gets switched: I would think support is the most needed as I would much easier run out of ammo, than be alive and need help.
(yes that means I would most likely be dead instead of in need of health )
and yet you find medics would drop med packs much more than you would find support guys dropping ammo.

Agree. I pretty much spam health packs and ammo packs whenever I can.

Although the people playing support have been getting better at dropping their ammo packs I've noticed.

Havent touched my PC since I last played on Saturday? Anyway, manually updated punkbuster, and did a restart of my PC. Seems to have fixed it

Thanks for the responses re: the vanishing crosshair... Aargh... One would think they'd nail it since it's such a pita. I'm going to add my lament to the bug report on it. Maybe the sheer weight of complaints will make them finally address it.

The spotting function is spotty for me too, btw.

I usually rop my ammo packs when ever I see another team mate. But this isn't BF2 where you drop 3-4 ammo/med packs so if I dropped a ammo pack at a squad fighting it's useless to drop 1 for a single lone wolf doing the chicken dance for ammo while I'm supplying a squad just around the corner.

P.s target the ammo/medic guy and spam Q your little needy bastia will ask for some candy
