Firstly good luck, you are going to need it. EA's help desk do not help at all. You will get lots of discounts though.

What you can try is this, join a server, while it is still loading press control-alt-delete and go to your task manager. Look for PnkBstrB.exe, right click an set the priority to High. You will have to do this every time you load a map. However, like most other solutions it work for some but not for others.

Contact EvenBalance and explain the problem, they will take you through some steps to try and see what the problem is. It takes awhile though.

Personally, and I can't prove it, I think that Battlelog is just throwing out random error messages, I also get a PunkBuster error from time to time, yet there is nothing in the PunkBuster logs. I think there are bugs in the communication process.
People from different countries, different PC setups and connections get the same error, so it is unlikely that hardware or connection is the problem. People play the game with lots of lag on their side, yet they can still play, where as I have minimal lag and yet will be disconnected from EA servers frequently.

A good game for me is to actually finish a round.

Well an interesting thing to notice is that I can join wage servers now without getting kicked. Apparently it might be related to server revision 18 being messed up. I'm playing on a UK server with PB enabled and no issues whatsoever. It's funny though, I have been playing the game for days without any issues.

Out of interest, will upgrading to win 7 64 bit improve my performance in BF3?

Nope but it will protect you more from virus's and i have never used 32 bit windows 7 but i love 64 bit, whether there is any different is debatable but 64 bit runs flawlessly for me. No issues.

What browser are you using, no idea if that would make a difference though.

If you add more RAM then you will feel an improvement with 64bit. I've got 8gb and BF3 eats as much as it wants.

You can laugh but you have far more protection against viruses with 64 bit, most viruses are writeen for 32 bit windows and they won't work on 64 bit.

Perhaps as 64 bit goes mainstream they may start writing for 64 bit but as it stands you are more secure running 64 bit.

Since i moved to 64 bit xp, vista and now 7 i have never had spyware or a virus. Xp 32 bit was nothing short of a nightmare.

Because people just play there for stats and Metro is a horrible horrible map. It's nothing like Battlefield. Worse than a CoD map.

Indeed, that's the way I feel about it. While playing it it feels like nothing more than CoD with better graphics.

And it always plays out the same way. RU keeps US players suppressed at the only 3 exits they can come up, and very seldomly the US manages to push upwards, but usually gets pushed back down again.

Hells no dude, most of the time we can get through. Takes plenty deaths but you can do it. If you have a squad who do more than tube the roofs you can make it.

Metro is the business, it's like a drug and i am addict. Couldn't care less about score, if i did i would not have played nearly 100 hours as engi.

Bizarre and metro FTW. COD has one thing i love, mindless killing.

That doesn't make sense though, if i enjoy metro why would i play other maps? The other maps don't offer insanity. Only bizarre can keep up with metro the rest are kuk boring and game play is slow. Remember how people moaned about bf 2 with the infantry only server? They could take away stats from bf 3 and i would still play it as often as i can.

Every other map is slow apart from bizarre. People can say what they like but metro is the most hectic insane map in bf 3 and people play it for the insanity, they must add bizarre to the rotation and wow i would be in heaven. Metro becomes addictive and it actually makes the other maps seem kuk slow but i don't mind what people think.

Is it always the same because i find um change their server daily but thanx i will check it out. OMG that would be insane . I hope it's up today because wow 24/7 metro and bizarre would be epic. The um servers are always full as well.

The slower pace is why I initially moved from CoD to BF, hence why I hate Metro.
