again was badly raped by chopper on Wake.

I will be so glad when they remove the double perks for gunner and pilot, not to mention taking away at least one other perk for aerial vehicles.

people say, "ag but use stinger" or "snipe the gunners" or blah blah blah... those people clearly don't know what it is like playing against skilled pilots.

or, how pathetic the lock of the stingers actually are.

you telling me that the fact that choppers/jets have stuff like "low flying" "ecs" "smoke" "stealth" and all that other "invisibility" perks, that it is still that easy??? pls

I get taken out by a little bird firing at my tank with it's machine gun, yet a tank shell takes 2-3 shots. that new patch better come out so we can RPG/tank these things 1 shot.

How did you get base raped? did your team lose all flags? if so what must the enemy team do? chill in their deployment so that you can have a flag?

One infantryman should not be able to take out a two man chopper, this is not balance and in fact its down right silly to expect this to be possible, soflam + jav or citv + guided shells/jav and you will not have any issues with choppers. Choppers in bf3 are balanced imo, especially compared to games like bf2, where choppers were ridiculously op.

I have mixed feelings about this tbh. When i am in a jet i try to avoid dogfights and focus on giving the guys on the ground air support, to this end

i will often destroy the enemy jets or chopper as they try to take off, now and then i will strafe guys who are camping for choppers or jets as well but

my main focus is taking out Armour, i dont circle the enemy deployment looking to spawn kill but if i time it right i will not hesitate to kill a jet before he

leaves the runway. I have the same approach when flying choppers, i focus on tanks and infantry but will always look to kill air vehicles as they take off,

no point in letting threats get into the air.

My Battlefield experience.

Pirate game (points for honesty?) because I don't play multiplayer online. Single player runs great. Fall for the game and want more. Happily buy game.

Installing the legit version takes about 2 hours.

Game works and aside from being dropped out occasionally I'm really enjoying it.

Game is patched. Now I can only run the game after a fresh reboot and game now frequently dies on map changes.

Game is patched again. Now it can't connect at all.

Game is patched again. Connections work but when I'm in game it crashes immediately. I try single player campaign and I get the same crash after a few seconds of gaming.

I haven't been able to play the game since around the start of December.

As someone who buys games he knows he'll love and considers testing others via pirating, this experience has certainly not pushed me in a more positive direction. Absolutely ridiculous.

What GPU do you have?

I have a Nvidia 560Ti and I've had big problems with crashing and freezes. Had to upgrade the firmware which helped a lot but not completely resolved. Before I would hard lock 5 mins into the game every time.

Map changes dies? You mean it hangs on that black loading screen? I get that occasionally too but I know that more RAM has been known to fix that problem. Someone I know who had 4 gigs would hang every single map change. He got 4 more gigs and now doesn't have that problem.

right, and you mention the one thing that is so "balanced" in your eyes: you say SOFLAM+JAV or CITV+GUIDED, but as I said, the fact that both pilot and gunner can have perks stacked is bs. you go and try to SOFLAM a jet/chopper with ECS doubled by gunner and pilot.

your mention of CITV could work, if a person could actually get to something like a tank because again A) locks don't do squat so pilots won't hesitate to take out stationary tanks and B) as I said, my tank gets more damage from a little bird than it does from other tanks.

you've also seen that vid of the pilot guy bailing and RPG'ing the jet tailing him right? now why would that have worked, yet shooting a jet with a tank shell only disables and the same for TOW'ing a jet.

Not too sure how much flying you have done but it is not easy especially shooting infantry and if I fly past and see you running around I would also shoot you know matter where you are.

A real base rape is someone sitting at your spawn point and cheap shooting you. If Kompete killed you with a jet then more power to him.

Calling someone a low life and a type of wood(it's oke, not oak) because he killed you in a game is disgusting. Its a game, learn to not stand still or evade

On a less serious note, people really need to start using that soflam. I find if I ask then someone would use it until they die and then don't bother. All they have to do is plant it on a nice spot and forget about it, it still locks on

If your son is nailing the threshold you could try openweb gold, get the dslheaven account which is webafrica but it comes at a price of course.

Depending on how much you play you could perhaps get a 5 or 10gb account as a back up.

Back on topic, I shot down my first heli with a tanks main gun. I climbed into the tank at E on Caspian border and a Venom flew past and hovered to strafe D ... BOOM, what a feeling!
