BB Bold 9700 dying ?

HI Everyone

My BB has started losing picture clarity on the screen. Started on Sunday, the screen sometimes freezes and goes white.

All my pictures are also not clear when viewed on my BB but they are 100% fine when viewed on a PC. It is as if the screen is fading.

Whats going on is my Bold about to die?
Please help, what should i do?

Have you dropped your phone recently or has it come into contact with water?
Did you try a battery pull?

LCD is probably about to go --- If you didn't drop your phone or phone didn't come in water.

I would suggest sending it for repairs they will replace the unit free of charge. "If warranty allows"

i have dropped it a few times and have some scars to show for it:twisted:.

Does this mean that they wouldnt replace it ? and if not can they fix it and how much are we talking here?

Hi Guys

Latest is that i took my phone in to Berryfix so they can check it out and just as you all guessed...its a LCD failure = which equals R1500....is this the normal going price for LCD replacement and if i took my BB into MTN, would they also charge me ? (warranty ?).

Take the phone to the place you purchased it from.Not sure if the warranty would cover it if it's water damaged or caused by the phone falling.
