BBC iPlayer on Xbox

So I managed to get Netflix set up on the Xbox using UnoTelly Smart DNS. I also got 4 on Demand and 5 catchup. But I can't seem to get BBC iPlayer to work on the Xbox. I keep getting an error message that it's not available in my region.

It seems I need a VPN in order to download it. But I spend ages getting the unto telly dns thing set up I'm worried about messing with it. Do I need a VPN to actually watch iplayer or just to download it? Because with Unotelly I can watch iPlayer on my computer fine. I just can' seem to download it on the Xbox.

Any ideas?

Out of interest - did you have to have a UK account setup to get 4OD and 5 Catchup installed?

Yeah, I changed my account to a UK account. Netflix and 4oD all work. Just can't seem to download iPlayer.

Yeah, I changed it from SA to UK to get it working.

You should be able now to d/l that iPlayer app.

I have it working on my xbox. I think you need to enable uk channels on unotelly. Dowland the app its simple. I dont have a vpn
