hi.
can anybody help please.
my phone: Hisense HS-U909
op sys: android 4.04

problem:
up until 3 days ago i had BBM for android installed & working correctly no problem. out the blue , my messages stopped going through & my contacts could not send me messages. the app still worked & showed its status as "connected" . at this point i had changed nothing on my phone, no new apps installed or uninstalled. I then decided to unstall the BBM app and reinstall it. now when i try open the app it constantly gives me message saying " no connection found. your connection to the wireless network is turned off.restore your connection and try again"
what i've tried so far:
1. uninstall & reinstall the app. same result
2. tried accesing through Wi-fi connection. same result
3. swopped sim cards (i have a 2nd vodacom sim) . same result.
4. through *111# tried to reset the OTA internet settings. same result
5. through the my vodacom web portal tried to rest the OTA settings. same result.

only other IM app installed being WhatsApp works normally.
help please???

Possibly a compatibility issue with your phone.
The latest BBM update has made my phone as slow as Windows 98 and my battery life reduced by 1/3

fixed. seems new version 2.0.019 is not compatible . found the 2.0.013 apk & that solved the problem.
Thx Koosi.

I might have found a solution, though. Once I did this, mine started working again.

Under Mobile Network Settings --> Access Point Names, open your default access point and remove the proxy server address, so that it shows Not Set.

Started experiencing the same thing on my Galaxy Tab from yesterday.

Busy trying the recommended solutions.
