I activated my BBM to save chats on media card, now the chats are saved as .BAK extensions. How can I retrieve those old chats ? What Program on my PC can I use. ?

Try and open it with Notepad and see if it works? (if it's not encrypted it should show the text plainly).

It displays unredible text and funny characters when I try to open using notepad, Notepad++ or word ..

Rename to .csv and open with Excel.

Also BBM has a message limit of 147KB. Thereafter earlier messages will be deleted.

I open / mine open automatically using excel....
