BCX glad uncertainty is over

IMO the whole "uncertainty" aspect was overrated, especially claims about employees being overly concerned. Most of those who left were employed for 14-months or less, and mostly young technical support staff on Servicedesk and 2nd line support.

But, alas, at least we all now know that we don't have to forward our Denim sizes through to HR anytime soon! :D

BCX is now a year behind the other players regarding the communication services business they want to build.

My experience was that people were concerned that the deal would go through... Fear of getting issued a little white van or something :). I think that there was some slowing down of sign-up for long term support contracts - customers being unsure of exactly who would se servicing those contracts in the future.

I think this was all a storm in a teacup, everyone will go one as they were merging, acquiring, divesting, divorcing, competing, partnering.....

Its the way of business - best not to take it all too seriously - its only a game played with real money...

BCX loosing staff no different from any other ITC house and those that left had nothing to do with Telkom more about better offers outside BCX
