Bean to cup coffee machine help

So. I want an upgrade from a nespresso machine. I want a good bean to cup machine thats also fully automatic, meaning that I just want to add beans, some milk and it needs to do its thing.

I unfortunately dont have much time in the morning and evening to get a proper barista machine, so I need a automatic bean to cup machine.

Spoke to a salesman in Hirsh this week and he recommended this

Is this good and are better options?

@RedViking opinions from your side?
Better price to be had @ Kloppers R 15699

My Philips/Saeco is over 7 years old.
If you like instant then these machines are not for you...
If these machines are anything like my nespresso, they will last almost forever.

My Nespresso was bought in 2015 running 2 espressos a day (thats around 2500 shots)

Got a demo Jura sx9 4 years back for 10k. Been serviced twice for about 1.5k.

When it packs up I’m only going to invest in another Jura.

If you’re going bean to cup, I’d only recommend a Jura machine. Find one that suits your budget, demo model or a second hand machine.

Saw an E8 for 15k on FB month back. Good deal!

How much better is the Jura compared to a Delonghi or Saeco?

I’ve had coffees from all three, don’t want to sound biased but Jura is better especially the E8. I love the pulse extraction process (I think it’s called that), coffee flavour is great!

Delonghi especially, not sure about the saeco but Jura is more bulletproof. Great machines.

But if Jura doesn’t fit in your budget then any bean to cup will be an improvement I’m sure.

Not knocking the big time coffee aficionados, but a bean to cup is so easy.

Having had (and still have both) - either Saeco/Phillips or Jura will be good. I think with Phillips buying Saeco, the machines spec is slightly lower than previous, but I would imagine the same basic design is unchanged.

A big difference (if it helps you at all) is that the Saeco is easier to self service than the Jura. Its internal brew group and the like slide out for maintenance/repair, while you need to get handy with tools to get anywhere close to the insides of the Jura.

They both make great coffee.

I also have an older Philips Saeco and a cheapy delonghi ecam something.

The phillips takes milk in a carafe but it is a mission to clean, you cannot just add milk, so I just drink black coffee from it.
The delonghi has the steam nozzle which I prefer.
Just put some milk in a mug, steam it and wipe the nozzle (although I daily remove it and clean it as well)

edit, I prefer this

What issue have you had with the Siemens? I have had mine for 1 year and so far not to bad.

I have had the Siemens EQ.6 Plus s500 for about 5 years now. Great little machine. No big issues with it, have my cappuccino every morning.

So. I bought a machine from Hirshe at the ECR house and garden show. It was 14k with a free Delonghi Kettle and Toaster :D

The machine is called

Delonghi PrimaDonna Class.

Great machine and price/deal! Usually R18k from Takealot. I also upgraded from Nespresso to one of these. Very happy after a year of ownership and many coffees. The only downside is that the spout is for hot water only and not milk frothing. We used to use the frother but to be honest the coffee comes out with so much crema that we just use straight milk.

Yeah. The coffee is amazing. Still need to order some good beans though. Any suggestions?
