Bean To Cup Coffee Machine

Seems like R2k less than everywhere else at the moment. Thoughts on the Delonghi for R7499?

I haven’t checked on newer Delonghis but I just didn’t like the way they operated.

The Philips are also very easy to clean with a tablet in the one shot hole.

Yeah I did also look before I posted. They do tend to come and go.

Wish list these two and just keep an eye on them.

Although that’s a pretty damn food price on the 2200 already.
Bit of a revival.

Does anyone have firsthand experiences of the 1200 and 2200?

I want to purchase one as a gift for friends, but I want to know about the pros/cons of each. Is the 1200 sufficient or should I just go for the 2200? They are coffee likers, not lovers, so they don't need something top of the range, but I want something decent that they can both use (they're a couple)

I’ve only used the 2200 but I believe the 1200 is identical capacity and pump wise etc it just has less built-in modes because the milk frother is manually operated.

Coffee was fine and I wouldn’t say it’s any worse than my Saeco.

The coffee bean storage is bigger and easier to fill than mine if it’s free standing but if you have cupboards overhead that may be a little problematic, but this is going to be the case for most of them.
