I bought my hubby a Schick razor/trimmer combo thingey at Checkers for R99. It is waterproof, runs on 1 AAA battery and has 4 height settings. The trimmer works like a bomb and you can clean/rinse it very easily because its waterproof - just under the tap and voila. Also it's shorter than a toothbrush so you can chuck it in your travel bag and carry it with you, use it anywhere, wet or dry.

I actually considered getting one for myself too, just because it's so darn nifty. And for R100, battery included, its really worth it.

Yeh, I have one of these as well, but for a proper beard trimmer, nothing beats the Philips.

Urghh, shaving... . I got the gorilla genes from my dad, so now I rock with a full ass kicking beard in two weeks . After a week, it's damn long (not quite at "full beard" level though).

Worse thing ever, I shave to baby skin smooth in the morning, by the evening, the stubble is back .
