About a year ago I ordered a set of SwapMagic discs from Morne on BoB (his username is "partyanimal" btw) and paid the money into his account straight away. Eventually i received them 3 weeks later after many excuses from the man himself.

About a month later i placed an order with him for 2 sets of discs for some mates. Once again i paid the money into his account straight away. After weeks going by and many unanswered phone calls made he gave me a SpeedServices tracking number which promptly turned out to be fake when i queried SS about the package not appearing on the online tracking service.

Eventually, close to 2 months later i phoned him up and left a message on his answering machine threatening legal action. Of course i had obtained all of his details due to the nature of my work. The next day he phoned me up with a real tracking number and my discs arrived the very next day.

Thats not the end of it...

Speaking to a mate from PE we discussed Swapmagics discs and where they were available. I pointed him towards ModChip SA (with a warning of course). Turns out he didn't need to be warned....2 months prior he had sent his PS2 to be chipped there. Morne confirmed that he had finished the installation and was going to be sending it back....which of course never happened. Over the course of a year my mate tried to contact him through email and on his cell number (which he had changed by the time i dealt with him) All in all this Morne prick effectively stole his console.

2nd, If i still have your friends PS2, Please send me his details, so i can check this up

3rd, I never intended to steal walvisbay2003 money, I just ran out of stock on swap tools for the slimline, and could not send it without that

Communication can always improve, We have a new person doing our shipping and she is supposed to call customers back, but sometimes forgot to do so

by the way, if anyone on the forum enquires about copying games or DVD's, they get told off by other users about piracy etc etc, and the forum in general doesn't really condone it. Is this any different?

In addition, you have the guy who owns the shop, who chips the PS2's, and more than likely sells the copied games, giving out his address and phone number (which he hasn't changed in 5 years by the way) out on the internet. Talk about incriminating yourself.
 
It doesn.t mean by chipping your ps2 or using swapmagic that your are using copied games

some jap/us games don't come out on PAL, and some people want to play that games, and in order to play it, you need to use the swapmagic or chip

Apologies, you go by "thejoker" or some variant of that. Partyanimal bought my PS2.

I've pointed the person with the PS2 issue to this thread in hopes that he'll finally get an answer.

It still doesnt change the fact that you ignored communication both through your cell and email in number of seperate cases and always seems you have some sort of excuse ready. I left countless messages on that same number and sent daily emails to that address. You seem to communicate very well when it suites you, i.e. when you're waiting for the money to be deposited and once you have it you slack off.

Hi every1';everysince i post this quiry here' i had wonderful responses frm each and every1 of U, i just would like to thank u so much.On Friday Morne responded to my mail,yes i was suprised didn't thot he would,but i knw that if it wasn't for this site' i sure would be at a dead end.So Once again Thnx All.
to Joker007- i also wrk with customers' to my they always came first,i left msg' on ur cell the decent thing is re-turn the call, it cost me to make that call,atleast u can respond,return emails,U said u'd get back to me (u didn't),Customer care is of importance,respect ur Customers...(i don't think i need to tell U that).

For thse of U who'd like to knw how things went:He finaly emailed me on Fridy, first he didn't had stock which took him a week to tell me, Now Friday he informed me he didn't had the tools for the SlimLine,so i said ok,just send me the Disks - U can provide me with the tools later (i hpe).By Friday 16:30 a package was delivered frm ModChip..will inform u later on the content' (atleast i got something...)

I remember this idiot from when i lived in jhb, got my ps2 chipped by him.After he royally f%^d it up and started not returning my calls asking him to fix it etc etc I toke it to Defcon where the guy told me what a ****ty job he done and fixed it up for me no-charge!.
A friend of mine is still waiting for a DVD he bought from this guy....think he's waiting for about 2 years now.

maybe in 10% of the cases but this is an intelligent community so everyone here knows the truth.
