'cos BEE is all cash-to-friends program... it has nothing to do with being fair.

Show me one BEE beneficiary that is not a friend of a high ranking politician OR a current politician.

I'm a BEE beneficiary with no connections.

I too know a lot of BEE companies especially within the mining industry who have no political connections.

When it comes to big equity deals, companies like Anglo, FirstRand etc will involve someone with a political leverage for strategic purposes.

However, Anglo does billions of rands worth of BEE deals every year with many companies that have no political connections whatsoever. Look at Anglo-Khula as an example!
