I don't drink a lot. Two "dumpies" (smaller bottles) or 1 quart are/is enough for me for a day.
So yesterday I had 2 Heineken dumpies and I put them in the freezer. Unfortunately I forget to take them out, so they iced-up/froze.
I took one out for about an hour to melt. Since it takes me forever to finish just one dumpie, while I was drinking, I got this terrible headache. :p

My question is, when a frozen beer melts, does it loose its formula?

EDIT: What are the scientifacally proven health benefits for drinking ze beer? - drinking moderately of course. :)

The more you drink the better looking moderately attractive women get.

i also hate terrible head :p

Ideally beer should be drunk at room temp for maximum flavor. Only time i like a frosty, is when the weather is cooking.

lols. Thats only a benefit till the next morning.

It shouldn't no. But if you try to drink it before the whole thing is melted then the water & other components will separate....you get the same effect when freezing liquifruit.

If its unpasteurized then it might have an effect on the living thingies in it.

Sure - some beers like a pint of bitter or perhaps a nice ale maybe but lagers are meant to be served cold.

1 quart a day? That's 5 1/4 l a week. Not toooo bad I guess. I try to squeeze my weekly drinking into one night. It comes with varied results.

Anybody else hate that horse p1ss they try to pass off as beer called Millers?

List of quality beers:
  • Duvel
  • Leffe
  • Erdinger
  • Hoegaarden
  • Hertog Jan
  • Innus & Gun
A few other I can't remember right now :o

Nooooo! Lol, I will rather drink room temp ale thx.

aah, what I'd give for a Guinness right now.

In the UK they serve Guinness Xtra Cold (it is kept at 2-5 deg C IIRC)..... It is awesome!

I try to steer clear of any SAB beer.

But they make Grolsch :p

Reminds me of one of my favourite quotes:

"I might be drunk now, but in the morning I will be sober, and you will still be ugly"

It's brewed at SAB, but SAB doesn't make it. Read that somewhere once, can't remember where. Manufacturers of Grolsch basically use SAB's brewery, but recipe is not SAB's.

Close enough to what Churchill purportedly said to Lady Astor. :)

My favourite being
Lady Astor: "If I were married to you, I'd put poison in your coffee."
Churchill's reply: "If I were married to you, I'd drink it."

Well it is an SAB beer and Bwana does not seem to like anything SAB :p
