Beer

I must admit non alcoholic beer is the most idiotic idea i have ever heard :p

Beer is not the best tasting stuff around but its get you pissed, now drinking something that is not to lekka and not getting drunk is just wrong :p

Yeah, those taste okay.

Beer is good for one or two, but the drunk part gets you the next 7 or 8. And even if it weren't the case: alcohol-free beer tastes even worse than ordinary beer.

I see your point on that one. Same as diet coke etc. but they all taste like ass so best just drink water or take the plunge and go for the real mccoy is what I say! :p

Becks non alc reminds me of pilsner arquell (sp?) :D
 
The only problem I have with beer, is that it makes you piss like a racehorse. I try to hold out as long as possible before "breaking the seal". If I'm in a pub where going to the toilet is a mission, I start with 2 ales, then switch to whiskey... preferably on the rocks.
 
Stella Artois and Pilsner Arquelle are about in the same league, the new Marzen Gold ain't bad either. Better than that crap from SAB
 
As stated in the numerous previous beer threads (but there can never be enough og them TBH), my beer of choice would be Kronenbourg 1664 if we could get it in SA. Or Budvar...
 
Why do Aussies call their beer XXXX?

Cos they can't spell beer :D

I'll never drink Buddweiser (spl?), just because those ads are so damn annoying.

Kronenberg is ok(ish). When I was in the UK I drank Tennents Super, it is a great scottish beer. It does make you a bit weak at the knees seeing as it is 9% alc :D
