You know what? I agree with you totally. Except with regards to this woman. She's 26 but as solid as a rock. I can literally write a book about this colleague of mine. She fascinates me immensely.

coming back to the alcohol on breath situation, I'm actually more convinced she would dislike it more if her husband smelled alcohol on her breath because that would upset the rules that she has set in the relationship that has been going on since those two have been in high school. She is a very commanding person and radiates authority far more than you would expect from someone of her age.
