Ben Affleck doesn't want to be a superhero. After dressing up as Daredevil and Superman in Hollywoodland, he has announced that it is actually embarrassing for him to be wearing tights. At a recent press conference in the UK for Hollywoodland, Ben said:

"By playing a superhero in Daredevil, I have inoculated myself from ever playing another superhero. Wearing a costume was a source of humiliation for me and something I wouldn't want to do again soon."
 
can't have Christian bale because that arc is over, my guess is Matt Damon going to be green lantern,
 
The story is loosely based on a Batman arch where Batman is 70 years old and comes out of retirement. Ben Affleck is not old, so interested to see what they do.

Secondly, when Batman actually kicks Superman's ass, he isn't dressed up as Batman, so it could be possible that he won't put on a costume at all :p

Lex Luther was also part of the story, so it will be interesting to see who plays him

I thought the same thing when I heard Heath Ledger was the Joker, and that Tom Hardy was going to do Bane :p but this isn't Christopher Nolan, so who knows
