Best ADSL option?

Hello!

I am currently using Afrihost Mobile Data (8gigs for around R300 a month). I'm looking to switch to ADSL/DSL option with more data but have been out of that game so long.

Who offers the best package for a similar amount of data (or more) and cost?

And how horrible is it to go via Telkom (I'm guessing I still need to get a line through them)
 
you do need a telkom line.

that is going to end up costing you around that much just for the line.
sure Telkom has packages that work out pretty well, and seeing as you are surviving with 8 gig per month, you should be fine on Telkom as your ISP.

but when the Budget constrain is removed a little, you can get 200 GB from vox for around that price, it does exclude line rental though.
 
Yeah, I am willing to spend a bit more but seeing prices of like R800+ per month which is out of my reach right now
 
R200 towards Telkom for voice line - Have to pay that unfortunately
then lets say you choose Axxess for Data line rental and data:4Mb line and 40Gb data = R289
So 4Mb 40Gb cap R489 per month all inclusive

Go play around with capped data and data line combined packages here to see exactly how much you will pay, just remember to add R200 for telkom to all these prices

Called Telkom today to see what they offer. I'm getting a 2MB line, 20gb data which includes the line rental for R416. That was the cheapest they could offer me. But if you find anything cheaper, let me know.
